Atelier Bursík 

Nikola Bursík was born in Brno on 6 February 1978. She started to play the violin at the age of six at the Jaroslav Kvapil's School of Arts. During her studies at the business college of Emil Holub in Brno she already learned to make the violins with her two brothers in her father's atelier. She made her first violin at the age of 16. She passed the final exams at violinmaking training college in Luby by Cheb in 2001. Since 2002, she has lived in Spain where she brings up her two sons – Antonio and Daniel.
